PRIVACY POLICY
BOOK BOUND shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). PAYMENTS
Payment may be made via Paygate, using any of their payment gateways : Visa, Master Card, PayPal, Skrill, Maestro, Visa Electron. Or by EFT into the BOOK BOUND bank account, the details of which will be provided on request. Orders will only be processed once the payment reflects in the Book Bound bank account.
SHIPPING POLICY
Orders are shipped only when payment made. An order is shipped once ALL THE BOOKS ON THE ORDER ARE AT HAND. Orders are delivered to School for free (by arrangement with the school) or shipped via The Courier Guy or Fastway
EXCHANGES/RETURNS/REFUNDS FOR PHYSICAL BOOKS
Errors, exchanges and/or returns must be advised by email to info@bookboundonline.co.za within 10 days of receipt of your order. Exchanges and returns will only be accepted if the book/s are in mint condition. Misbound or misprinted books will be exchanged without question. Refunds will be done within 7 days from the day on which we receive the returned books or the day we are advised of changes to the order. Refunds will be done to the Card or Bank Account which was used to make payment for the goods.
eBOOKS
PLEASE TAKE EXTREME CARE WHEN ORDERING EBOOKS :
eBook formats available :
1. ePUB – available for offline reading – some ePUBs have a reflowable layout which adjusts according to the size of the devise used. Some Links in the ePUB may require the user to be online, eg YouTube videos.
2. ePDF – available for offline reading – page numbers are more or less the same as the physical book.
eBook Licences available :
Both the above formats come with Licences:
1. Perpetual Licence: The eBook will be available on your device/s forever.
2. Limited Licence: The eBook will be available on your device/s for a limited number of
days only, ie 800 days, 425 days, 395 days or 1 year.
Please see each individual eBook for its specific Licence.
If you choose to purchase a “Limited Licence” eBook – please DO NOT REDEEM IT TOO EARLY and have it disappearing from your device before you are finished using it !!
EBOOK REFUNDS (generally speaking there are NO REFUNDS on EBOOKS)
eBook Vouchers are sent directly from Snapplify to the purchaser. Therefore any refund requests for eBooks sent to info@bookboundonline.co.za will be forwarded to Snapplify and approved at their sole discretion. Should you be entitled to a refund for any reason, that refund will be done to the Card or Bank Account which was used to make payment for the goods.
