The NumberSense Mathematics Programme has been created to support children’s development of a robust sense of number and deep understanding of mathematics.  The series provides comprehensive curriculum coverage. The NumberSense Workbooks address number and relational thinking (patterning) and develop the strong sense of number that is critical to success in mathematics. There are 2 NumberSense Workbooks and a NumberSense Companion Teacher Guide for Grade R. The series has been designed to be used at a rate of one workbook per term. For Grade R there are, however, only two workbooks for the year. Each workbook has 48 pages – one page per day.  In order to provide differentiation for the children in the class it is envisaged that different children in the same class could be working on different booklets.
